A Pre-Migration Skills Assessment Application (PASA) was made on behalf of Mr. Ritchie with the Australian Computer Society (the ACS), which shortly after was accepted in the occupation of 'Applications Analyst Programmer'. Assessed as being suitable for skilled migration, Mr. Ritchie's "Points Test" 136 Visa application was then lodged with the Immigration Department in Australia on 29 July 2005, and visas were issued in the program year.
