104 (Preferential Family) and 806 (Family) Visa

An applicant for either a visa subclass 104 and 806 who claims to be a carer must now satisfy the regulation 1.15AA definition of ‘carer’ at the time of decision, rather than at the time of application. This, however, is subject to the requirement that evidence regarding medical assessment must accompany a ‘carer’ visa application.
