Even though visa holders of certain classes of migrant visa have permission to work in Australia, the granting of a visa and the acceptance of qualifications for migration purposes does not provide a guarantee of employment in Australia. Employment in some occupations is limited. Registration and licensing requirements for particular occupations vary between Australian states and territories and may be amended from time to time.
